  • HVAC Mechanical Division: Diagnostic testing with digital manifold gauges, electrical capacitor and contactor replacement, blower motor and fan servicing, reversing valve and TXV replacement, refrigerant recovery, and full split/package system replacement.

  • Remodeling & General Carpentry: Structural framing repair, interior drywall finishing, door and window trim, subfloor stabilization, and commercial facility maintenance.

731 Services does not engage in hazardous asbestos abatement, major municipal sewer main tunneling, or structural engineering certifications requiring architectural stamping.

Clause 1.4 Inquiry-Only Catalogue & Non-Binding Estimates

This website is strictly an inquiry and dispatch portal. 731 Services conducts no e-commerce sales, operates no online shopping cart, and accepts no automated credit card payments through 731handymanservice.us.

Any price figure, rate bracket, or cost range published on this site represents an estimated guideline based on typical regional trade conditions, not a binding fixed quotation. An inquiry submitted via vobic55.php or the trade desk chat does not form a binding contract for repair until:

  1. A technician evaluates the physical site conditions or reviews documented job specifications;
  2. 731 Services confirms scheduling availability, access feasibility, and parts inventory; and
  3. The Client explicitly approves a written job estimate or diagnostic service authorization on site.

Diagnostic Callout Fees, Labor Tiers & Emergency Rates

Clause 2.1 Pricing Basis, Currency & Cost Determinants

All rates and payments are calculated and billed in United States Dollars (USD). Our trade pricing structure is straightforward, transparent, and confirmed directly by operator A.J. Eubanks:

Service Category Confirmed Operator Rate Billing Form Scope Inclusions
HVAC Diagnostic Callout $89–$129 Per service call Full electrical, capacitor, pressure, and motor amp draw test. Credited to major repairs.
HVAC Mechanical Repair $150–$650 Labor per job Component replacement (contactors, capacitors, motors, boards). OEM parts billed at cost.
Full HVAC System Replacement $6,500–$18,000 Complete system quote Old equipment recovery, new split/package unit, transition ductwork, line set, permits.
Emergency HVAC Dispatch Callout $100–$350 Per emergency trip After-hours or severe freeze/heat wave priority truck roll to job site.
Emergency HVAC Technical Labor $70–$400 Per hour on site Complex mechanical troubleshooting, line brazing, or compressor restoration outside shop hours.
Memphis Handyman Labor $36–$59 Per hour scheduled General trade repairs, electrical fixtures, plumbing fixes, drywall patching, carpentry.
Emergency Handyman Labor $65–$95 Per hour urgent Urgent water shutoffs, temporary pipe patching, storm board-ups, circuit troubleshooting.

Variables Governing Final Price Determinations

Final invoices and written estimates depend strictly upon:

  • Time of Day & Dispatch Urgency: Standard shop hours versus late-night, holiday, or weekend emergency calls.
  • Nature and Severity of Failure: Simple component swap versus extensive refrigerant line leak isolation or subfloor rot rebuilding.
  • Home Size & Tonnage Requirements: 2-ton versus 5-ton heat pump requirements, duct static pressure constraints, and CFM balance.
  • Site Physical Accessibility: Tight crawlspaces, second-story exterior roof pitches, or obstructed attic mechanical plenums.
  • OEM Component Pricing: Exact cost of manufacturer compressors, coils, circuit boards, or copper raw materials.

Site Access, Workspace Requirements & Workmanship Warranty

Clause 3.1 731 Services Workmanship Guarantee

Owner-operator A.J. Eubanks backs every physical job with our 12-Month Workmanship Guarantee:

Workmanship Guarantee Terms

If any mechanical fitting, electrical termination, copper sweat joint, or carpentry modification completed by 731 Services fails within 365 calendar days of completion due to defective craftsmanship or procedural error, we return to the site and correct the defect at zero additional labor cost to the client.

Manufactured Equipment Warranties: HVAC condenser compressors, air handlers, thermostats, motors, water heater tanks, and circuit breakers carry factory manufacturer warranties ranging from 5 to 10 years depending on brand registration. 731 Services assists with registration documentation; however, manufacturer warranty obligations for part replacements are governed by the respective equipment fabricator.

Exclusions from Workmanship Guarantee: The guarantee does not cover failures caused by external electrical lightning strikes, utility power grid voltage surges, municipal water supply sediment contamination, homeowner modifications or uncertified third-party tampering, pre-existing subfloor structural subsidence, or severe Acts of God.

Clause 3.2 Site Access & Utility Disclaimers

To perform mechanical and general trade services safely, the Client must provide unobstructed access to the work area, main electrical service panel, water shutoff valves, and exterior mechanical pads:

  • Attic access ladders, crawlspace hatchways, and equipment closets must be cleared of personal storage and debris prior to technician arrival.
  • Working electrical power and municipal running water must be present on site for testing and brazing procedures, unless emergency restoration of those exact utilities is the designated service scope.
  • Domestic animals and unrestrained pets must be safely secured away from work pathways, torch equipment, and open electrical breaker enclosures.

731 Services operates with extreme caution; however, pre-existing brittle drywall, corroded copper lines weakened by acidic water, or degraded aged circuit breakers that crumble upon standard disconnection are disclaimed from technician liability where proper trade procedures were observed.

Clause 3.3 Limitation of Contractor Liability

To the maximum extent permissible under Tennessee law, 731 Services and owner A.J. Eubanks shall not be liable for incidental, special, consequential, or indirect damages, including lost rental income, secondary frozen pipe damage occurring prior to technician dispatch, or mold remediation resulting from pre-existing chronic plumbing leaks.

In all circumstances, our maximum financial liability arising out of any trade service engagement, whether in contract, tort, or negligence, shall not exceed the total cash sum actually paid by the Client to 731 Services for the specific job or service call in dispute.

731 Services reserves the absolute right to refuse service, cancel pending dispatch calls, or terminate on-site repair operations under circumstances involving:

  • Unsafe or biohazardous site working conditions, including active structural collapse hazards, exposed raw sewage, or violent domestic threats;
  • Persistent refusal by the Client to authorize required safety disconnects or permits; or
  • Verbal abuse, harassment, or physical intimidation directed at our tradesmen or dispatched personnel.

Clause 4.4 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of trade service engagements or website use, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without giving effect to conflict of law principles.

Clause 4.5 Modifications to Terms

731 Services may revise these operating terms from time to time to reflect adjustments in trade labor rates, material supply chain realities, or local municipal building codes.
